Art Force 5 founder takes program to NYC

Dan Napolitano, the founder of Art Force 5 and the Women’s Empowerment Draft, is excited to announce his appointment as the Chief of Staff of The New School in NYC beginning May 2, 2022.

Alfred University has been a gracious host to the Art Force 5 and the Women’s Empowerment Draft from 2006-2022. Alfred University leadership recognize these efforts as Dan’s artistic practice and do not plan to continue these initiatives in a professionally-led capacity, even though student clubs may still carry on the Art Force 5 mission.

Dan is temporarily pausing these activities but is eager to resume this art and activism once he feels ready to give the necessary attention. At this time, The New School has not been approached to sponsor or support any such efforts, as Dan’s priority is his new role as Chief of Staff. Whether these programs return as Dan’s independent artistic practice or a possible New School collaboration is yet to be determined.
